Kendall Jenner Ordered to Pay $90,000 in Fyre Festival Lawsuit Settlement

Kendall Jenner has agreed to a $90,000 settlement in the lawsuit pertaining to the failed 2017 Fyre Festival, according to Forbes.

The super model was sued last year for her involvement in the disastrous music festival. According to court documents, Jenner was allegedly paid $250,000 to promote the festival in a single, now-deleted Instagram post, as well as an additional $25,000 after the post went live. The lawsuit alleges that she “intentionally led certain members of the public and ticket purchasers to believe” by not indicating that the post was paid.

Of course the 2017 event in the Bahamas fell apart, now trustees are working to claw back money owed to investors, lenders and attendees. Now the model agreed to pay $90,000 – less than half of the $275,000 she was sued for – to end the litigation.

Other celebrities named in the lawsuit include Pusha T, Lil Yachty, Migos, Tyga, Rae Sremmurd, and Emily Ratajkowski.
